I use mine all the time, but just like gas or groceries - when they start charging me, I may just phase out using the card. We're ALL in this together (even if it isn't our fault) - when they begin taking advantage of me, I begin pulling back.

I use my debit card all the time, but if my bank starts these fees, I have no problem going back to cash.

my Australian bank has always charged me a debit card keeping fee.

You know, there are some studies that show that when we use cash we are not as likely to spend as much. It actually *feels* like spending when you hand over a stack of bills as opposed to signing your name.

Maybe I should start using cash for more things, too.
