Great concept. There does not seem much activity in New Mexico. Do you have chapters or state organizations regarding Modestneeds. I have always thought this is the way to go. I ran United Ways for about 16 years and was always dissatisfied because we could not fund small acts of kindness that came our way.

Hi Bob - Thanks for your kind words. Actually, 'regional extensions' of Modest Needs have been in the works here for a very long time. Our problem has been building the technology to accomodate them. We're nearly done with that (I wanted to do it right if we were going to do it at all) and if all goes well, the first regional locations should launch early next year. Where we launch these initially will depend on where we find a combination of the greatest interest and the most support. Thanks much for all of your good work. You're right, though - often, it's those 'small acts of kindness' that mean the most.

There are very few things for which I voluntarily get up at my normal time on a Saturday morning. I did it this morning because I wanted to catch your Today Show segment.

Very interesting experiment. I'm glad they thought of you when they went looking for a commentator on it. I just wish it would have been a little longer.

Great job, Keith!
