I had promised earlier this month to send out a special newsletter commemorating Modest Needs' sixth anniversary (which just passed) and announcing a new and very important goal for all of us.
You may have noticed that this newsletter never went out. This is because, since migrating to our new server earlier this month, we've had horrible email delivery problems.
If you're a Modest Needs member with an email account at hotmail.com, msn.com, verizon.net, bellsouth.net, att.net, or sbcglobal.net, there's a chance you haven't gotten any of the email we've sent to you regarding even the status of your application - must less user names, passwords, etc.
I'm personally sorry for the inconvenience that these email delivery issues have caused for you. And they've caused just as many for us. I can't tell you how many angry letters we've gotten from people who couldn't get their passwords or weren't receiving their daily status updates over this. And when these things happen to all of you - the people we care about - we're just as upset as you are.
After two solid weeks of research and a LOT of long, long nights, I have finally found the problem, and we are working to fix it right now. Hopefully, email delivery from Modest Needs will be back in great shape within the next day or so, and then, you'll get that promised newsletter (and believe me, it's one you'll want to read.)
In the meantime, thanks to all of you for your patience as we worked to resolve this problem. More soon - have a great day!
Dr. Keith, I am so sorry that you and your wonderful staff of workers have had so much headache with the email mess up. I had wondered a day or two about why I wasn't recieving any updates but I figured that no news was good news and with all the people who need help in these days and times and with it being the Season of compassion - Easter- that things would work out. Now that I know the reason I am especially thankful of how hard you all work to help myself and others in our times of need. I am sending you prayers that everything smooths out asap and blessings to you and yours and everyone who is a part of this great organization.
